Protect the journey as soon as it is safe
Open the current journey in Dashoo and use the protect or lock action. If you are driving, wait until you can stop safely. Never use the phone to manage footage on the move.
Check that it stayed protected
Return to the journey history and confirm that the clip is marked as protected. If you need the video later, export a copy as well.
Keep an original copy
Do not rely on a social-media edit or shortened clip as the only version. Keep the original export and record when and where it was made.
