Export the clip first
Protect the journey, review the clip and export a copy from Dashoo. Keep the original file separately in case you need it for a formal report.
Check privacy details
- Look for faces and number plates.
- Check reflections, house numbers and location information.
- Remove personal details from the caption.
- Do not identify or accuse someone beyond what the footage clearly shows.
Share through your phone
Choose the social app from your device’s sharing options, or upload the exported copy through that app. Dashoo does not automatically publish videos to social media.
When not to post publicly
If the footage may be needed for a police report, insurance matter or dispute, keep the original private and use the relevant formal route first. Social media is not a substitute for reporting an incident.
