What the overlay can show
Depending on the phone and permissions, recorded footage may include information such as speed, location, heading and timestamp. Check the finished clip rather than assuming every field is available.
Why journey data helps
It can give context when you review a journey or share a clip. It is not a substitute for your own account of what happened, and it does not guarantee that another organisation will accept the information.
Location permissions
Dashoo needs the relevant permissions to use location data. Review your phone settings and the app’s privacy information before recording.
Before sharing
