A phone dashcam normally needs camera access and may need location and microphone access depending on the features you use. Review permissions in your phone settings.
Know where footage is stored
Dashoo’s core recording workflow stores footage locally on the device. Optional cloud backup is separate. Read the current privacy policy for the complete data handling information.
Sharing is your action
Dashoo does not automatically publish footage or report incidents. You choose when to export or share a clip and which recipient or service receives it.
Keep control of old footage
Review protected journeys and cloud copies regularly. Delete clips and account data you no longer need, while remembering that local files may require separate deletion from account data.
